Men's Group
What is Men's Group?
Many things can derail us from living the life we’ve always wanted. Men are often faced with challenges that erode our sense of what it means to be a man. We struggle with trying to determine where we are going in life and whether or not we will be as successful as we hope to be. Self doubt and uncertainty seem to cripple us at times.
Maybe you feel that you are too passive and have a difficult time standing up for yourself. Do you lack confidence in making every day decisions? A growing number of men suffer from clinical depression and struggle to even find the will to make it through the day. All of these issues are common among men and will be the focus of this men’s group. We will meet for an hour to an hour and a half every week to work through these issues together. The group is designed to provide a safe place to be challenged and encouraged to grow in any one or all of these areas:
- Gain Confidence and Inner Strength
- Learn Assertive Communication
- Manage Anger
- Build Self Esteem
- Overcome Depression
- Self Actualization (goal setting and motivation)
- Build Strong Relationships (Romantic, Friendship, Family, Work)
Whether you think you could benefit from, or be of benefit to others, this group is for you. This group is a place where each of us will have the opportunity to seek assistance and provide assistance to our fellow man. We all strive for more in our lives, and sometimes a fresh perspective from other men can be invaluable along the way.
